My first blog!

Eeek! I haven't done this before, but I think this is the best way to tell you all about my holiday to Cornwall. It took us about three hours to get there, including a stop for food in Exeter :)

When we arrived, there was six flights of stairs to get up to the villa. Humum said this was a lot, so I helpfully pulled her up them.. Then she took a picture of the sea from the top..

The next morning I decided I should introduce myself to one of the local birds, as a young single chap does on his holidays.

But enough of this introducing malarky, I had heard a lot about the sea. Last year Humum said they went to Perranporth, and Mini Man didn't like the waves. Here though, they were smaller (still looked pretty big to me though..) Here I am having my first seaside experience!

I didn't see this, I was busy exploring, but this is a giant woodlouse type thing that Humum's boyfriend was very interested by. She's not much of a bug fan so she stayed well back and zoomed in with the camera instead!

Here I am again, exploring the rock pools that were left behind when the tide went out a little. Humum says this is her favourite picture of me. If you're wondering, I am a bit soggy. I fell in a few of the pools. Some of them I had to swim in!

This is a view of the beach nearest us. The tide was in at this point. The picture before this one was taken in the same place as those two little looking rocks.. I think the town you can see beyond is Looe :)

It was soon discovered that I quite enjoyed swimming. However, those naughty people kept on throwing sticks and tennis balls into the sea! Here I am saving a stick from drowning.

We decided to visit Looe and go on a glass bottomed boat on a trip around Looe Island. There was another dog on the boat but we didn't say hello. I got a bit cold on the boat, as did Mini Man so we couldn't take any pictures on the journey as Humum and her boyfriend were too busy cuddling us!

This is the front of the same boat :)

Now for the last picture I must warn you, there is shocking information. I suggest you sit or lie down.
This is a picture of a crab, that was caught in Looe. Mini Man named him Fred (as he does with most things!) Now... the shocking part of this is... to entice Fred into the bucket.. some bacon was put into a bag and thrown into the sea! I tried to follow it in, but I wasn't allowed! Instead I was allowed to try a tiny piece. Blummin' cheeky crabs if you ask me...

Ok so this was my first blog. I'm sorry it's not very good!! Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to curl up and have a snooze on Humum's lap.
It's a dog's life.

  1. What a fab holiday and a great bloggy! I love holidays. I'm not so sure I like crabs though, but I definitely like bacon!
